Zorbing & Scissor Sisters: 16th September 2006

For my 30th birthday, Simon had just told me to block a day out of my calendar, for some secret activity. Then in Croatia, he told me that we would be going Zorbing, or in other words, rolling down a hill inside a plastic ball. So on September 16th, we set out on a two and a half hour train ride, and completed our 20 seconds inside the plastic ball as we rolled down the hill, with some water splashing us around so it resembled being in a big washine machine. Zorbing was fun, but I think it could be more fun being in a harness, or doing it with 2 people in the one ball. It was certainly a very different and fun experience, thanks Simon! Once back from the Zorbing, Diana and I headed into Trafalgar Square for a free Scissors Sisters concert that she has won tickets to. The concert was great, awesome, fun, crowd, and it was all in aid of a new charity idea called Red. See Become Red.
