Ryan & I decided to go to Spain for 10 days some time ago which included the Tomato throwing festival near Valencia called La Tomatina. Before that, we spent three days in Barcelona which was a fantastic city. So much to do. We then caught the train down to Valencia, saw some beach, some more bars, but it was really all about getting Bunol for La Tomatina on the Wednesday. It was crazy, mental, feral, crazy, unbelievable! The day after that we picked up our car and headed down the coast, and spent one day in Alicante and then two nights camping in a small Spanish resort town called San Jose. My birthday was spent at the tackiest Spanish tourist park of all time called Mini Hollywood as that area is where they filmed a lot of the old spaghetti westerns. Anyway, it was an enjoyable, varied trip, and I'm happy to have done La Tomatina once, and I'd go back to Barcelona in a heartbeat. (La Tomatina photos still to come..)
