Ryanair really are w8nkers aren't they.Lets not even discuss their English language skills.Anyway, I was off to Salzburg to meet Diana who had been working there a couple of days.
I managed to miss the Sound of Music tour on the Friday (phew), so on Saturday after a big walk around the city and stroll up to the fortress (Hohensalzburg), we took a Bavarian Mountains sightseeing tour.
The tour took us into Germany, past the site of the Berghof in World War 2, from where you could also seen Hitler's Eagles Nest perched up on a ridge. This tour wasn't the best but not having really
travelled through the Alps before I absolutely loved the scenery.Probably the first time I've seen a proper mountain!Salzubrg was a really superbly picturesque town which must be stunning in summer, but two days was more
than enough to cover it (and what's with the salt obsession?!)
