Easter in Rome, sounds like it would be busy really doesn't it, what with the Vatican and all of that.Well it was, but it was also glorious 20C sushine
and just generally fantastic as we walked our legs off.On Friday we covered The Colosseum, the Roman Forum, The Trevi Fountain, The Spanish Steps and The Pantheon to name a few, and Saturday was
Vatican day, taking in the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basillica. On Sunday we got up nice and early to find a good spot to watch Easter Mass from (as we didn't have tickets), but thanks to
getting up early we found someone with spares and so we ended up seated and about 100m from the front which really was quite an experience.Monday we took a little easier before our flight back
and took in the view from Castelo St. Angelo, walked through the streets of Travestere and had yet more gelati before heading home.
