Cheap flights and a fantastic currency conversion rate inspired us to head to New York for a long weekend. Friday was a cold wet miserable day, but we made up
for it by some fantastic shopping. I took the fact things that things were cheaper far too seriously and bought way too much! On Saturday, after we had spent some time
in Central Park, we headed out for a dinner at Asiate (thirty five floors up and on Central Park, this is New York!) On Sunday we went on a helicopter ride over
Manhattan, saw the Knicks blow a great opportunity to win a game with the last shot at Madison Square Garden, and as a parting goodbye went to the top of the Empire State Building to see the city at night.
New York was fantastic, and I definitely need to go back again. (baseball next time!)
