London Marathon, 24th April 2007

Robyn, Diana and I headed out to watch Damion run the London Marathon, so naturally I took my camera to shoot the crazy people.It was a beautiful sunny day (as I write this in May, what happened to the sun!), and there was a huge amount of support out to see people run.We first saw Damion (well he saw Robyn holding a sign in support), at about the 11 mile mark.The number of people going passed was intense and it was very hard to spot him, but he saw us first.At the 22 mile mark, Tim and Tam were also watching and we all saw him run pass, well ahead of a lot of people across the road who were only at 13 miles and suffering.It was quite hot for a London marathon, and I'm highly impressed by Damion finishing, but Im definitely not inclined to follow in his footsteps.
