I won't discuss whose idea this whole trip to Manchester to see Bon Jovi actually was, but I can at least say it was essentially for Simon's birthday, and he was the one who organised the whole thing! At least he had the sense to surround himself with females, and invite me! On Saturday night we had an absolute ball out drinking and observing the local "wild life". Crikey is all I can say. The next day, when we eventually arrived at the venue, we were informed, must to our complete dismay, that it was a dry venue and so we proceeded to fit in some pints outside the stadium. Once inside, the sight of a beer seller set the group into a frenzy of happiness and we were away. Most of the time I had no idea what song was playing or if I knew it, but it didnt matter as we had an absolute ball, despite the tragic nature of the music provided. Happy birthday Simon, sorry to see you go Kelli!
