On the bank holiday long weekend we decided to try something different, we stayed in England! We drove up to the Lakes District on the Friday and stayed in Keswick, where the only real problem was finding a park at 11pm at night as it seemed like the whole of London had had the same idea as us. We were all justified the next day, as the south was lashed by rain, and we had some nice weather and headed on a relaxing walk from Glenriddle to Helvellyn. Six hours and utter exhaustion later, we found a nice pub and had a fantastic beer. Funnily enough the next day we spent driving around in the car. A great weekend away from London, yet again!
