London Terrorist Bombing: 7th July 2005

Im not going to go into massive detail here but, Im fine (I apparently have some "lateral whiplash" which will take a week or two to clear, but I will be 100% ok). Dylan and I were on the train at Edgware Road which was passing the another train as it exploded in the tunnel. It was a massive and sudden bang accompanied by a very sudden jolt, and then darkness, screams, black ash, and gassy smells. For few moments before the air started to clear I had my doubts, but as we gathered ourselves and realised that we would probably be ok (even if trapped for a good while), we were haunted by the cries and screams from carriages further down the train. I can only imagine what these people went through and what I experienced pales in comparison. I dont want to say much more except the way my friends and family rallied around me was first class and I want to give them a special thank you. No mentioning names but you know who you are. The people I know are the reason life is so special.
