Barcelona, Spain: 19th-21st October 2007

We headed off to Barcelona in the hope of some small amount of warm weather before winter was upon us, and for the most part we got some welcome sun. On Saturday we hit the tourist trail and saw Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera, walked extensively through the Barri Gotic area and visited the Catherdal. We also walked around Barcelonetta and the beach, before taking in a traditional Cataluyna style dinner (I had the wild boar!). On Sunday we wandered slowly around Park Guell (more Gaudi), and hand a great lunch by the harbour (including some fabulous Paella and Sangria of course). The weekend was topped off in traditional manner by an EasyJet delay, but it was a good weekend despite the orange people!
